Default Oregon Coast Campground

We're finally heading out next Monday pointed south. We'd like to try to Oregon coast and are looking for suggestions on what has worked for others. I saw Rob Robinson's post on the camground in Brookings - we'll stop there for sure. Any other sure winners - or losers?

Cannon Beach is a great place to visit. Beautiful beaches to walk on. RV park right in the center of town.

Outdoor Resorts has a Place in Newport named Pacific Shores. Right on the ocean with high end facilities.

Also in Newport is the Marina RV Park, right by the aquarium and marine science center. We like Bullard's Beach State Park north of Bandon.

I,m not sure what I did but my reply went away in mid-type! As I was saying this is one of our favorite areas. We liked several of the state parks, especially Washborne and Tugman. These had non-reservable sites which worked well for us as we never know when we are going or how long we are staying. I will warn you that most of the state parks had only 20 or 30 amp service. We also liked Midway Rv in Coos Bay. Here is a god site for researching parks - rvparkreviews.com I have found it very helpful.
Enjoy the coast!
