Default Engine - SAME or HOTTER temperature Poll Questions for Woody's trip back to Arkansas

OK, Woody and Randy have successfully completed the re-powering of Woody's Blue Bird SP36 Wanderlodge, from a Caterpillar 3208/ZF Transmission to a Cummins 8.3/Allison 3060-6 speed, over on the SP36 engine change,3208 to 8.3 cummins thread and Woody reports that the engine temperature during the road test in Florida were in the 180-185 range and we already know the results of the Will It Run Hot or Cold, That's The Question? poll that was taken for the test run, but there are still some naysayers out there that are thinking that they only tested it in Florida, plus it wasn't with Woody's heavy duty trailer hooked up behind the 'Bird and it wasn't tested out west in the BIG mountains (that's sort of like EVERYTHING IS BIGGER IN TEXAS)

So, here is the poll question for you to vote in;

Woody's Cummins powered 'Bird on the way back to Arkansas......

Will run the SAME TEMPERATURE as it did in Florida.
Will run a HOTTER TEMPERATURE than it did in Florida.

So now we have a poll for you to vote in, remember ONLY 1 VOTE and you can't vote as a reply to this thread, just look up at the top of the thread ON THE FORUM ITSELF and vote there.

I note that TEXAS does not have any BIG mountains. Woody will need to travel to Colorado to give it a real test.

My tongue-in-cheek comment was that people that seem to think there are no steep grades here on the east coast have never found them, but they are here, you have to know where to go, such as Fancy Gap I-77 NC/VA state line and Mount Eagle I-25 Tennessee and there are more of them. My point being that they may not be as long a distance, but in order to get an engine HOT, it doesn't take a very long distance if the grade is steep enough..........and there are some of those steep grades in Texas, but again you have to know where to find them, been there done that.

BIG MOUNTAINS ARE ONLY IN THE WEST is sorta like saying EVERYTHING IS BIGGER IN TEXAS, my brother from Texas claims that all of the time, but only tongue-in-cheek.
