Great info about how to dump and refill the suspension on the 1991 and newer coaches. I too had been dumping and refilling using both switches. Just a word of caution...I have experienced while using the suspension dump switch but not the tag axel switch, that the front and drive bags would dump but not the tag axel. this put a lot of weight on the tag axel bags. I guess just watching the tag axel gauge would be important as the beast settles down. Thanks again for all of your input.. Someplace in the early to mid 90's BB must have switched it back, because my 96' does not dump the tag with the main suspension switch. My tag gauge stays up. Or maybe I have something wrong??!! I guess as long as things work when I flip the switch, I shouldn't worry about it!

I'm not certain that your 96 should work the same as my 91 but out of curiosity I looked at the 96 owner's manual here on the Forum and at least according to that manual it looks like the main suspension dump switch on a 96 is supposed to dump and re-fill the front, rear and tag axle suspension just like my 91 does and that the tag dump switch is just for dumping the tag axle air bags for maneuvering or extra traction. Hopefully someone else with a 96 will post a reply about how their main suspension dump switch functions. Like you said it might not be anything to worry about as long as you can dump the tag axle with the tag dump switch - that's the way my 84 ½ operated. The main advantage to learning that I'm supposed to dump all the air with just the one main dump switch on my 91 is that now I know it's ok to allow the tag axle to help lift the coach when I'm airing-up the suspension.

Admittedly, it would be nice if you only needed one switch to dump the entire suspension. I'll have to play with mine once the weather warms back up! (maybe I should rephrase that....)
