Question How to Fix Washer Tray?

Howdy, WOG.

The tray that our washer/dryer rests on, has developed a non-stop policy. When the tray is pulled out so Liz can empty the lint filter on the back of the machine, the tray wants to keep moving out. I am going to upload some photos of this. The tray moves out until it's front is actually resting on the bathroom floor. I am not sure how this tray is secured within the cabinet. Please advise how to fix this problem.

TIA,
Jack

Jack
Most are mounted on standard drawer slides very similar to ones used in house cabinet drawers, only heavy duty.
They have small locks--latch, on side that can be shifted to allow removal/cleaning , check to see if latches have been pushed to removal position.
If this is not problem::: measure how long it is in closed and extended position I have some that may be right size for you.
Free just pay ship.
Good luck

Howdy.
Thanks for the reply.

Hmm. Why does the whole tray lift up at the back? Is this tray attached to the floor and/or the cabinet sides?

Jack

Sounds like some one has removed the unit in the past and possibly removed some hardware or hold down screws.

Question Wrong Place in Forum?

Howdy.
My thread, How To Fix Washer Tray, is in the Generator section. Could that be moved to the General section?

TIA,
Jack

Well, looks as though I'll have to take the washer out of that cabinet. Groannnn.
