Hello to all, first post from a long time lurker. I hope some day to join you fine folks out there in my own Wanderlodge, but I have to sell some property first. I just saw this Pt-36 on the Sarasota Craigslist, for those who might be interested.

Thanks Rob. Like so many, I'm at the mercy of a difficult market. It's frustrating because I have plenty of equity: I just can't get to it.
I would also like to add my voice to those who have found the help of these forum members inspirational. I have never owned an RV and will surely have a very steep learning curve, but I know I will get all the support I need here.

Hello to all and thank you Randy for this great Forum.
This is my first post and maybe fortuitously so since my wife and I just looked at the Bluebird this thread is about. We have been looking at newer MHs for some time yet seem to be continuously drawn back to older Bluebirds. Guess we might just have to give in to "The Force" and forget about all others. We had high hopes while driving to see the BB but they were quickly dashed when we pulled into the driveway. I know one is not supposed to judge a book by its cover but in this case I am sad to say that first site proved to be the prologue for the inside story. IMO, if one wants to undertake a major refurbishing project, this coach should not disappoint. With 230,000+ hard miles and very much lived in I would think the asking price is a bit high. I had a very nice visit with the owner but it sounded like the he would rather park it next to his barn back north than let it go for anything less. According to him the first owner used it for 5 weeks and drove it back to the place of purchase and traded it in for a Prevost. Much to our surprise we felt the layout met most of our needs but it was not "The One" my wife could be 100% happy with. Good news is there are many other Birds out there just looking for a new family. Again, hello to all and I expect to be absorbing as much information this Forum has to offer before I begin posting. Have a great day. John |

welcome to the site!
its too bad that some of the older owners would rather see their old bird rot away than to make someone a good deal on it. keep looking, theres a bird for you out there,i'm sure of it!
