this is a nice coach,it needs tires (8 years old) and a few little things done. its missing the radio and the toaster and has a small water leak under the bed,its the air purge valve or related hardware thats leaking.
easy stuff to fix.
its been sitting for a year, its got new batterys and it starts and drives fine.
located in Ca.
steal this coach for $40,000.

And I bought it!

Since it was close enough to drive to, and in pretty good shape made it a good deal for us.
Its at a shop now getting fluids changed and I'll put all new tires on it. We'll pick it up next weekend and drive it home!

We will plan some short trip during the next few months and hopefully graduate to (close to) fulltime!

Thanks to Randy for finding it and John for being such a nice guy!

Joe,

Congratulations on the purchase. A couple shake down trips will help with the systems learning process -- and you can have some fun while you learn. Be sure to ask any questions that come up. From my own experience there are a few things that aren't at all intuitive.

Welcome to the BB owner's fold!

Joe,
You are right that it seemed to be in pretty good shape. I was close to buying it myself, but bringing it all the way from California to New Jersey, considering the light use it has had over the last 10 years, was a risk I didn't want to take. At the asking price if something big decided to go it was still a fair deal. But having something big fixed on the road could be a nightmare.

Since you will have the oportunity to work up to the big trips, I think you made out pretty well.

Best of luck. Keep me posted. I want to know if I should start kicking myself in the butt.
