Default Bird Sighting

Spotted a pre 87 FC (83-85?) on the move inside Badlands National Park yesterday in SD. Nice looking rig. In April, spotted a early FC in a RV Park near Port Aransas TX out on the island.

Another Bird today, a PT headed north bound into Rapid City. 2 birds in 2 days - unusual.

Default Sightings and observations...

The start of "out of school" migration?

Were leaving Northern Virginia and starting for upper NY state, Quebec City, Gaspe area then Maine at the end of next week. On the road for about 4-5 weeks.

Took our bus in for the annual state safety inspection. Big dealer, full lot of coaches, few customers, appears not to be happy times for dealers...but on the bright side:

Once again while at the dealers we become sort of a tour coach...draws mechanics and spectators so frequently I should have a handout printed. It is a rewarding experience to have someone who sells top of the line modern buses have their eyes light up when looking at a 23 year old FC. Those classic BB lines and all the dash switches & gauges knock em dead every time!

Frank and any other BBIRD travelers,
If anybody is passing thru on the NYC area on the I-95 or I-84 corridors, please feel free to stop by. We have (free) 30 amp and water at my shop and home, dump station near by. And a county campground nearby if thats prefered. All have easy (1hr train ride, or 45 min. drive, no traffic) access to NYC and all it's entertainment and sight seeing.
We still work, so we wouldn't be available to do all the fun stuff with you, but you could come and go as you please or if you just need a safe overnight parking area.
