Andy,

You don't have to be from a different continent to feel that way After listening to "On The Road Again" being played by 'Bird owners over and over as they left rallies, I decided that I had to compete, so I had Randy mount a set of TRAIN HORNS on my 'Bird and now when (turn your volume way up) I PLAY MY HORNS................................I don't seem to hear that familiar tune anymore, or anything else

Joe,

I usually use them on the road only when really needed, to alert drivers that are not paying attention such as coming up a ramp and not checking mirrors, talking on the cel phone, etc and of course when kids give me the pull on the lanyard sign and that usually scares them when I do it

I did use them once when coming back from Montana on US 2, as it parallels the railroad tracks and I saw a train running in the same direction as I was, so I just wanted to say to the engineer HELLO!! He gave me a return blast

The "brain Box" for our horn on the 86FC was NOT where everyone said it was... mine was located behind the wall just in front of the passenger seat. It took me quite a while to realize that it was not in the upper overhead It was easier to access from behind the passenger side panel out side... it sat on a shelf ... The key is to look for the ribbon cable going/comming to the box itself. What ever you do be careful with the ribbon wire/cable it is probably the most fragile part of the whole thing. The folks at PMMI could not be any more helpful..

here is the list that I had to choose from .
