Default Planning Trip across US and Canada

Hi all:

Vadie and I are planning a trip across both the US and Canada in 2009/2010.
Rallies - we would like to hit as many of them as we can, so where can I get the dates from?
We would also like to meet many of you folks, and gain even further knowledge of our BB.
Please forward any places which should be on our travels to visit, I know we will not be able to see it all but would like to see a lot of it.

Thanks

Bill and Vadie

Hi Bill,

Here are some areas on the forum where you may want to keep an eye on;
Wanderlodge Owners Group > Takin' it Easy > Rallies, Shows, and Organized Events >

SWBB: 2009 ANNUAL BLUEBIRD QUARTZSITE RALLY: Time to sign up!

2009 Myrtle Beach Rally

Maxton Blue Bird Mini Rally - Hot Rod Magazine Top Speed Challenge 2009 (not scheduled by the ECTA yet but usually is the first weekend in April)

Places to Visit

Campgrounds, RV Parks, and Other Places to Sleep

There is also a Calendar that has a link on the forums homepage in the toolbar, that those that want to can add their rally information there, when they have a definite date set.

Hi to all the Johns, gosh that doesn't sound right hehe.
I always had the bug, now I got the time off, ahhh money oh well the bank has lots LOL.
John and Debbie, you are on the list as well, but will let you know time frame when that comes closer.

John in Oklahoma - We will be leaving BC Canada in October, and heading south. Quartzite is one area, then zigzag across the states, we have 6 months, then back into Canada on the east coast. Hope to zig zag across the border and back Iowa, Montana, North Dakota and see a number of BBers in that area.

I am hoping to have 14 months vacation, then might have to go back to work, or retire early, still looking at the numbers.

Default Planning Trip across US and Canada

To all of our fellow BBer’s:
As many of you know, Vadie and I have been planning our round North America trip for a number of years. We have discussed numerous places with individuals, checking out places to stay and see, as well as trying to attend as many rallies and visiting friends.

Two major wrinkles were thrown into the plans, and we will not be leaving as planned in September 2009, but postponing it until possibly July 2010 and doing a reverse trip, across Canada first then wintering in the southern US.
We were looking forward to attending Quartzite 2010, Kinder Rally and Tom Warner’s rally.

Neither wrinkle is negative, one is a beauracracy thing with my passport, and the other is like Randy mentioned, well we purchased a newer coach – an 88XXV WB.

Thanks to many of you who have helped us plan the trip, all is not wasted as we will use all the good information when we proceed with the vacation.
