Maxton Blue Bird Mini Rally - Hot Rod Magazine Top Speed Challenge APRIL 3-6, 2008

We are home after an 8 month trip of traveling and living in our Bird.
The last event was at Maxton, There was lots of rain, food , fun, and laughter. In-addition race car time trials and a few Bird repairs.

Attached are a few pictures , Notice the pit crew and racing fans .

There were three Birds traveling together, The fast lead Bird was Cliff and Barbara, Hauling Wood in the Hammer Lane, ( Woody & Darlene) , And in the rear, Pokey Patty & Bill, ( taking pictures)
These three Birds have the same engine, trans and rear axle, But some have a much heavier foot.

Thanks for the great photos, but I don't know why everyone was saying that Tom Sorentino had the spelling of HARE wrong on the T-shirts, too bad Cliff didn't take his hat off too, Woody is getting there, but he still has a short CROP still going
