Hey Mike,Birds are complicated, with many redundant systems.
nobody thinks your a *******,heck,i learn something everyday from the guys on this site. And the reason i learn? because someone asks a question about a system on a bird, and someone always knows how to fix it or make it better. And thats cool! Also,i noticed your bird has a 2 speed rearend,i remember hearing about BB building two FCs with a two speed rear. When i was buying my first bird many years ago the sales guy at Buddy Gregg showed me an FC with a 2 speed rear. thats a rare bird you have there! Randy

Mike, On my bird I have a 30/50 amp cheater cord. This was a normal 30 amp cord which had the female end replaced with a 50 amp female plug. This allows me to plug into any 30 amp service and not worry about having to plug 2 30 amp cords into a box. Rarely will you be using all of your systems and you can get by with just the one cord. I know I can not run all of my ac units and the microwave at the same time, I know I need to shut something off. With this cheater setup I only carry 2 cords instead of 3.
