Polishing the roof?!
Let me just start by saying I'm not entirely sane (that's what my wife says). I've run out of things to polish in and on my bus, except for the roof diamond plate. I washed the roof this weekend, boy was it dirty, and I thought this stuff would look really good polished. So I tried a small section by hand and it does indeed take a nice shine when you try. Now, can the whole roof be done??? Will it take all summer long?? Will I blind driver's and pedestrians on overpasses when I drive under them?? Seriously, I have seen nice looking diamond plate on some big trucks all polished and I thought how cool that would look on the roof...

If you do it once you get to do it again and again. Perhaps you propose to the wife alternating shifts lol Birds will like it.

I just asked the wife if she will help me polish the roof, her response was "NO!! Are you going to help me knit???" So I guess I'll have to do it myself.

Ouch. She got the best of that deal. But I know how it is I have a wife also. I still would not polish the roof. Actually it is impossible on my roof. Mine is extruded or rolled aluminum 3/8x3/8 sheet not diamond plate. Fits together like vinyl siding.
