I christened our 85 PT40 "Jayne Marie" after the wife. I like it!

Our PT38 Wanderlodge purchased last April in San Diego is called "She's Happy Now " proudly displayed on the rear panel. I'll try to get a photo of the panel it is pretty cool had it done by a boat sign shop at our local marina

Default Latin

I named my sailboat "Festina lente" "make haste slowly". When I do find the BB that I want, I will be using that name as well.

I asked some family/friends to submit suggestions for our brand new 1987 FC35, and got 104 responses.

The hard part was choosing from the many many cool names.

Some of the great runners up, that are now up for grabs, are:
Meanderthal
Wander Lost
Wander Logistic
CompensatINN
On the Fly (maybe the toad could be Zipper)
Global Warminator
Grounds for Divorce
An INNconvenient Truth
Flippin' Bird
No Egrets
Hither and Yawn
Spend it Forward
Forward 'Ho
Blew By You

And the winner is ... ... ...

Yonder Lodge

(Unless, of course, someone points out that the name is already taken, or that the name is impractically stupid).

Kirk....Marne is near my old stompin' grounds. I grew up on the west side of GR near Leonard and Oakley(sp). I remember going to the races in Marne and one particular Saturday night, the first of the fireworks tipped over and launched directly into the back of the Pickup carrying the rest of the show. 40 or so years later this almost seems funny.

Dave Ward or anyone else.....do you have any more information on this sale as I think I am at least the second owner since then, and am interested.
Well Hello there in Valparaiso! We are down here in Bloomington, Indiana. We have a 1982 '35 footer that we have rescued. Due to be back home here on Monday. We only one major thing left to do and that is to replace the toilet. All the major stuff is now finished.

We haven't found a good name for our Bird yet. Any suggestions would be great. To help our traveling campanion is an English Bulldog named Maxwell's Silver Hammer or as we lovingly call him, Max.

If you have any ideas. Please let us know. We don't seem to be able to come up with anything that isn't already in use.
