I believe it to be the front air bag dump valve. The schematic calls it a quick release valve.

Any clues?? Does it look like a standard quick release valve??

Thanks for looking!!
Aaron, Try these web sites. There are a lot of pictures of air valves, you may be able to find a match.

Aaron,
Could this be a type of dump valve similar in operation to the one found at:?
http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...1&d=1207633069

This is a dump valve, without any wiring attached. You can see from the diagram (lower right side) that the dump valve is plumbed into the height control valve as an option. It is controlled by air to dump from either a solenoid or manual switch in line from supply tank reservoirs thus it requires an air supply to dump.

I may be wrong, quite often the case nowadays, but I visualize this type dump valve to be no more than a sping holding a valve onto a seat forming a seal thus preventing air escaping from the air springs.Sealing is further aided by air contained in the air springs. When supply pressure is placed on the control side of this valve (and, is greater than the pressure within the air springs and tension of the spring) and, from the opposite direction, it dumps, or ports the pressurized air to atmosphere.

I cannot tell from looking at your picture if these dump valves are the same or not, they do not appear to be alike, but the operation of the two types of dump valves could very well be the identical.

A poor dump seal here "could??" cause your air spring pressure to escape settling the coach but my thinking is that if your supply air is coming through a solenoid to control this dump valve, and it is closed, you would not loose supply air unless the solenoid is faulty as well. SWAG

Well, I like your thoughts, but I used the soapy bubble solution sprayed on the valve in question and the leak appears to be coming out of the body of the valve itself.

Arron: I have the same problem with my front air bags, where is this valve located? I can hear it leaking but by the time i get under the coach the noise stops.
thanks

Aaron its difficult to identify an air component if you have never seen or worked on one or if there is not something in the picture that would give you an idea of what it plumbed into. I have a copy of Bendix Quick reference catalog with all parts from compressors, valves, air driers etc and use it to identify parts on my coach. If you have the part in your hand or know what it looks like on your coach you can go thru the catalog and match it to the Bendix part and then find all of the information you need on it. Makes life a little easier.

Just a guess but I believe its a Bendix LQ2 limiting and quick release valve and should not have an electrical connection. It is "triggered" by another valve.
