Default Finally happen bird hit

Knew it would happen eventually but still not happy. Our bird was hit by a lady trying to go between our bird and a car in a fueling area. First there was not enough room for her car to go between but she tried... and hit. Good news is she missed the body and hit the tire hub area. Sad news is she dented the bird chrome hub. Hoping the hub can be popped back soon as equally sure finding a replacement is slim. The lady also knocked off several of the nut covers, breaking one but they are in inexpensive to replace. The steel nuts did a number on her car as several gouges were very deep.

I would also be very careful about the lug studs that were hit. Check them every 50 miles or so, just to make sure they were not cracked by the impact. Don't want to loose a wheel.
