Default Suzuki Vitara

My son wants to buy a winter driver and he found a 2000 vitara that is ready for towing behind motor home. He thinks we should share the cost (of course) and then I would have a lighter vehicle to pull other than the Honda. It has 275,000 km from towing and highway driving. What do people think of these things as Toads? The price is reasonable and the mileage doesn't scare me. I have almost 400,000 km on the Honda.

Advice appreciated.

Any idea how they are for towing? I see some Grand Vitara threads but not for the little 2 door like this one.

I don't know about towing, but I know they're popular in the off road community. Cost a 1/5 of a new side by side, road legal in all states, and cheap to maintain.

Took it for a spin. Would make a good towable and trail runner but not a good winter driver. 65 mph would be a stretch for it. He is going to keep on looking. Thanks for feedback.
