New here. What are major differences between this bus and say LXI, aside from the length?
I notice this has a cummins, maybe an 8.3. different trans.
Are the longer units built heavier? larger tow rating? Thanks in advance.

Check out the history of these birds here, a lot of info and about 95% correct.

Thank you sir. That's what I was looking for.

What about reliability between the M11 with 3060 vs 60 series and the allison world 6 sp. when towing. I have a 24' stacker trailer and it's a bit more than I am comfortable towing with the MC8. Looking to upgrade a bit.

M 11 is 400 hp in the BMC while it's 450 and 500 hp in the LX. The LXI has a 60 series Detroit at 500 HP in a 97. Different HP in different years.

The BMC is a much simpler coach when it comes to gauges and a lot of trim. Fewer Battries and one inverter also.

This seems like a lot of RV for the price. I'm in a spot where I'm looking at Wanderlodge again but need to have room for more than 4 to sleep at times. This will only be a requirement for a few more years. Can you set up a small air mattress in one of these for a temp sleeping spot for a teen? Or is there not enough room??
