Default Window trim paint questions

I am having considerable pealing of my black trim paint ( I think it's paint, but could be a powder coat or factory treatment) on the windows externally. Pretty sure the frame is aluminum but looking for ideas/past experience with "touch ups" . Recommended paint/ process/ prep.

Thanks for the help

Jon. You can touch it up all you want but it will continue to peel. The proper procedure would be to strip the aluminum sand and use a acid etch primer on the aluminum than apply paint. Acid etch primer is available in spray cans also satin black I prefer Dupont (Axalta )or RM Products Also Sem is a good product. Lee Condosta. BASF, Dupont, Sikkens, SW, 3M Distributor. Automotive and commercial certified applicator RETIRED

As always, thank you all for the help. I will tackle this job soon as it is starting to look a bit unkept around the windows.
