I see ads for Bilstein and Koni aftermarket shocks that claim they won't transmit repeating small irregularities in the road to the coach. This might mean you wouldn't have to switch lanes on worn concrete interstates. Has anyone tried these new shocks???
Thanks, Don 96 Wanderlodge

Don,
I'm not familiar with Bilstein's offering, but the Koni shock you're referring to would be the FSD (Frequency Sensitive Dampener). Koni makes the FSD for the drive and tag axle only on BB's. FSD's are not available on the steer axle, where they're really needed. I run them on my tag and drive and do notice a small improvement. David Brady '02 LXi, CA |
