Care and Upkeep Let's face it, it has to be done. Have questions of what to do or how to do it, this is the place to talk about it.

Default What Preventative Measures....

All:

This is the time when little furry creatures want to come in from the cold. In reading your posts concerning mice, etc. I was curious about the use of these "ultra-sound electronic" devices.

I have been generally skeptical about these things until I put a few in our lake cottage a couple of years ago. Seen no sign of a mouse since. Coincidence do they really work?

Just remember to unplug the electronic device before your coach switches over to the inverter because the inverter will cook them. I have used them and they do seem to work well for mice. We have learned that peppermit oil on cotton balls will keep them out of your bays or inside the coach.

I have never used the ultra sonic devises in the BB but have used them for many years in homes and they do work for the most part; they are also good to keep insects like spiders away; but again they are not in my experience 100%.

For rats (I've have not used them on mice) the very best trap I have ever found is the RAT ZAPPEER (Google it); they are expensive as traps go, but in my many years of experience using them, they are 100% effective. When all else fails the Rat Zapper gets them.
