Default Supplier Of Reclining Chair?

Does anyone know who makes the recliner used in many of the high-end coaches?

FLEXSTEEL is the name that comes to my mind right away, but there may be other manufacturers out there too.

Here are some links found here on the forum that are suppliers to the RV industry. I have had personal experience with Bradd and Hall where I originally purchased my Flexsteel captains chairs and I was treated very fairly there.

I've been digging around various websites; Marathon appears to use Lafer and Liberty uses Ekrones. Haven't found anything for Bird or Newell yet. I also found good looking chairs at Arizona Leather.

The one in mine is an Ekrone with a matching ottoman. It's pretty comfortable and stays in place while traveling.

Thumbs down

No offense...Flexsteel doesn't make a decent product.
Paid 1,200 bucks for a chair in my bird. Padding lasted a little over a year.
A padding guy that I know, told me they have a good frame, but use the cheapest padding in the chairs.
I can see why Prevost and others use other brands.

Bob I've heard your story from several others. Flexsteel use to be a good product but not any longer.

Got a wall hugger recliner for the my FC from Bradd and Hall. Great service but as previously mentioned, Flexsteel padding isn't so great.

Parliament (Bluebird dealer) supplies Ekrones in their Prevosts. They are in stock and custom upholster them there in Florida. see them on their coaches on their website.

Default Recliner

Been reading your posts about the recliner. I think I have a high end one on my 94 WB. The only problem it is so close to the curbside table and the wall, it cannot be used as intended - i.e. a comfortable recliner. Anyone know if it can be easily moved say 6 " aft and 3" closer to the aisle?

There appears to be no adjusting mechanism under the chair.

Thanks y'all!
