Chrome bumpers

I was asked today if I knew where their coach bumpers could be straightened and rechromed. In fact I do know a nice place and used them over 20 years ago when I was restoring Olds tornonados.

I talked with them just a few minutes ago if they could work on a bumper as large as a motorhome bumper. I am going to go to the shop this afternoon and measure my front and rear bumper, and send him the pictures with measurements and then he can tell me if his tanks are large enough to do the bumper.

Should know in a day or so if they can. A ball park estimate of straightening the bumper and rechroming it is approx $650. If they are even close to that I believe it is a good deal.

So if it works out I will post the business address and contact point so we can all get the same price etc.

We have NEW Chrome bumpers for the FC and fiberglass for the PT

I should said late model 91-96 fiberglass bumpers sorry
the early PTs used an FC bumper but it was cut into three pieces left right and centre for the generator
I do have bumper which is not chromed could be cut and then Chromed
it would have the cut outs for the driving lights and I would have to get the centre measurement on the bolts. Now the caveat any additional whole wold not be square holes but round I don't have a punch near big enough to punch to plate that those bumpers are made of . Blue Bird used a 600 ton press and punch to form the bumpers

Had two pieces down on the front of my bird.
Each piece cost 300 bucks.
They are located in Tampa.
Don't know if they can do an 8 ft piece, but I saw car bumpers there to be done.
