Default Idiot lights

My BB manuel does not cover anything about the panel lights such as "brake"; "check engine" etc. Most of them are obvious, but some of them have me stumpted. Does anyone know where I can find information on these? One in particular periodically lights in the color green it is the "DSL" light - what does this mean?

Thanks,

Dennis

I think if you look closely it is "DRL" and stands for Daytime Running Lights.

Thanks Marv and Jean. I guess my eyes sight was not good enough to see the small letters. Two questions if I might: 1. what does it mean when that light comes on and goes off while driving, I am not doing anything with the lights? 2. I see you also have an M380, does your Owner's Manual define the various lights?

Thanks,

Dennis

Dennis:

No my owner's manual does not define what the idiot lights are. I have seen a list somewhere but I can't seem to find it now. One of the lights has to do with low radiator fluid but I can't remember what all of the other indicate. I will continue to look and if I can find the list I will get a copy to you.

I have No. 00144 and have had it since April 2003. We got all the kinks worked out without too much trouble and have really enjoyed it. If I can be of any help with your please don't hesitate to let me know. I monitor this group closely.

Take care

Dennis & Marv,

I haven't looked at either of these items about the M380's but they may hold some useful information in them, you can find them under;

Thanks John, I have the Owner's manuel but not the data book which I will review for any useful information.

Marv,

The last 5 digits of my VIN number are 00120 with a date of manufactor of June 2003. I purchased it from the original owner with only 28,000 miles on it and it has been relatively trouble free. I have managed to figure out most of it's operations, but one that has eluded me so far is how to receive cable channels when I hook up to cable. This has not been a major problem since we have Direct TV via Sat. but I like to know everything there is. There is a A/B switch but it does not seem to do much. Sometimes I can get what I think is one or two cable channels on the rear TV, but other times it just says "no signal." Of course I can get Dir. TV on the rear set. Right now I am camped in a redwood grove and I can not get Sat. but they do have cable and I can not get the system to recognize the cable. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Dennis

Dennis,

A few ideas to avoid overlooking the simple:

On some TVs you must switch the antenna source type from Over-the-Air to Cable. Then you need to auto program the available channels. This would be after you have the cable connected and the A/B switch in the correct position.

You could try bringing the cable in through the door and connect directly to the TV to make sure it is not a TV problem.

Regards,

Glenn

Sorry to take so long to answer Dennis:

On the rear TV you have to go to the menu and believe it is the last tab to the right and change the antenna to cable. After doing that let the TV automatically find the stations and then you are good to go. Prior to doing this you will need to set the box in the front to B which connects the cable connection from outside the coach to the system.

Take care and hope you are enjoying the redwoods.

Marv

Marv,

You are a genius, why didn't I think of that; it worked like a charm. Can you switch the front set from Sat. to Cable in the same way?

The redwoods are great, we are having lots of Wanderlodge moments.

Thanks so much for your help.

Dennis
