Default 1985 FC35SB in Baton Rouge

Does anyone have any knowledge of this 1985? The current owner got it 5 years ago from an owner in South Bend, IN. We are looking to purchase our first bird, and this is in the budget range.

I'm strongly considering a flight down there to take a look.

Thanks,
Mike

Don't have any knowledge of THAT one, but I know a little about FCs. If yer serious, get on the plane, that looks like a quality buy, and those can be kinda hard to find.

Thanks Mike.
Off the subject, Is there ample clearence on the rear wheelwells to run chains if need be. This isn't the best time of year to be crossing all of the mountains between Louisiana and Oregon!

I sure hate the thought of that flight...

Mike

I am sure there is ample room to chain up the rear wheels. A better suggestion, since you would have your bedroom with you is to wait out any inclimate weather. Just make sure you get a good education on the use of the heaters and generator before leaving the previous owner and make sure they are all working. Also, make sure they show you how to use the heaters for the bay and water pipes.

I agree with Mike, that does look like a good buy. Keep us posted.

Take I-10 to LA CA, I-5 to Portland and east to the house. I got a place out side of Lewiston, ID and I'm hip to the terrain. That's the route I'd use, **** with them mountains, just be careful with the fog, and black ice. Get some cable type chains and it will be all good.

This is a buyers market. The FC is being sold by a dealer and can be purchased for less. I have a feeling that the PT can be picked up for $25,000 cash if you make a fast deal. If it were me I would grab the PT. Its a steal even at $30K.

See 1986 PT40 For Sale by WOG Forum Member when Randy first posted that on the forum, he stated that it was a 1986, but it was actually listed as a 1985.

As far as them taking $25,000.00 for it, that is being extremely optimistic on Tom's part, since I know the party that is selling their 'Bird, I doubt that it can be purchased for that much of a reduction in price, but you can also dream
