aqua hot fixed

My wife and I are at TGO. Hisham Amaral and Bill Pape are also staying here.

I ran into Hish and mentioned my heating problems. No problem, We can fix it.
Hish had all the parts and tools. I am now enjoying heat when I need heat. Friday night was cold in Florida. When Hish said We will fix it, he mis-spoke, because I basically watched him and attempted to be a good gofer.

Because of the members of Rats and the forum, My wife is warm which takes the heat off me.

I also learned about shopping around. I bought a replacement filter here in Titusville for $30.00. Bleakly and Aqua-hot sell it for $15.00. I have a spare coming from Bleakly.

Well with all of the talk on Aqua-Hot, mine quit last week as did the fridge. Wife is not happy. Waiting on a new nozzle and fuel filter.

Put in a new nozzle, cleaned everything and now it runs very well for about 1 or 2 cycles then won't start. If I turn it off then on it may start again, sometimes have to do that twice or so. I have a bad feeling it may be the board. Any ideas? By not starting I mean there is nothing, no sound of anything running. This isn't that it won't ignite, it won't do anything.

This is Hish Amaral I am in West Bloomfield for the next month if you need help with your aqui hot please let me know. We can fix the issues. If you change the nozzle please make sure you also clean the sensor, adjust the electrode position and clean the burner can.

I forgot to till you from what your describing you may have a bad instrument panel switch. RS Electronics may carry this switch in stock in Livonia on Schoolcraft Road.

I think Aqua Hot can get to the bottom of this issue. I still think that the problem is in you instrument panel switch. rather than the control box.

Please let me know if I can be of any help. Too bad, I have a new control box in the bus in Florida and will not be back to MI till the end of May. If you did not get a response till than I would be very happy to let you use the box to see if it would work for your.

The first time we had the same symptoms as you, it was a bad board, the second time just before Quartzsite, it was a bad bearing in the pump/blower unit.

Morey, What did they charge you for a new board? I've heard $1200.
