Somthing wrong with the board, or do I have a missing year?

I don't know if there is a qlitch with the forum software, but this morning, I was surprised to find a ton of open threads -- many showing a post time of less than a few hours ago, but almost all of them had been inactive for a year (e.g. the last post was dated February 2008).

Just thought the management might like to know...

Thank you Pete. When this sort of thing happens it can usually be attributed to our own button pushin, knob twirlin frigin FINNagin. He just can't resist the shinny's......... "I wonder what this tab does?"

No shinny tab pushing going on here and I just checked back 200 threads listed under Latest Posts on the forums homepage and they go back to mid December, using this method How do I read messages older than 24 hours? the only threads showing the NEW icon before them were actually NEW unread threads for me. I first checked the forum at around 5am E.S.T. and saw no problems. I read the forum using this method and highly recommend it How do I read this NEW forum, like I did the old Yahoo forum on the Internet? UPDATED

I'm wondering where you saw this error, is it still a problem and how are you actually reading the forum, as there are multiple ways to read the forum. In order to duplicate the error that you saw, or are still seeing, I will need more information.

I'm not so sure that it isn't Rob, he has access tot he same things that I have

I 'enter' the forum by going to this URL:
http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co....php?do=getnew

It usually 'switches' the tail end to some number that has no meaning to me

I then see a list of the "open" threads that I haven't read.

When I visited this time, the thread listing looked normal.

Knowing how software can be, this may have been a transient glitch -- perhaps a cosmic ray hit the server, or a bit of diesel soot was under the keyboard...
