Default BMC Consumables Resources

Hi all,
This lousy economy has now made me a “DIY” I had always just assumed pay someone to maintain my ’97, 40' BMC even though I could do the work myself. Well, those days are over. Can anyone point me to a good resource to help me identify and purchase routine maintenance items for my BMC. For example, what filters do I need? (oil, transmission, fuel, etc..) Also I need to get occasional chassis parts, like the time I cracked a leaf spring when I drove into a ditch, he he.
Thanks!

This may not help much as you have the 40' with Cummins M11 and trans HD4060.

For the Cummins 6C8.3/MD-3060 on the 37', I compiled a list at:
http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...read.php?t=718
And shocks at:
http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...read.php?t=719

Perhaps if you ask about your Cummins motor and your transmission at the yahoo deisel rv forum, someone has already compiled a list they can send you that you can post here?

Fleetguard filters: http://fleetguardfilters.com/
Allison: http://www.allisontransmission.com/p...icationType=MT

I don't know if this applies to your engine model: http://regions.cummins.com/sa/pages/...rmancetips.cfm

Steve,

Try the BMC Yahoo Forum for filter #'s , they may be in the files section.
But do not hesitate to ask questions on this Forum

Default BMC Maintenance

I did quite a bit of research on this with Cummins recently and found out a lot of info I put on the Forum here (assuming you have the same engine I have, the Cummins 300 8.3)

http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...hlight=feeding

I replaced the coolant at the change interval with the lifetime coolant. Filter needs to be changed yearly (about$80)

Other info is there as well

Good luck
