Default Hot Rods/Cars

I've started to notice that a number of folks on this site have either used the term hot rod or have posted pictures to make a person think that.

I'm a Mopar guy. I've had quite a few of them over the years. But, I also have one that is Ford - but it will be Mopar powered before all is said and done.

My crown jewel right now is a 66 Plymouth Barracuda. Here's a picture of it....

I've also got a 68 Barracuda convertible (under construction), a 69 Barracuda fastback (for sale), and a 1930 Model A. The Model A is a Sport Coupe and I'm going to be dropping a 354 hemi that I have in to it and let it be my hot rod. It, however, will be a while before I get to it.

Who else out there has some interesting vehicles?

I currently have 2 1977 Mercedes Benz 280E cars in pristine condition. Over the years I have restored and driven the following. Sold them all.
1968 Hemi Roadrunner-Red, Radio delete, bench auto. 35K miles. Went at Barrett Jackson from a subsequent owner for 220K two years ago. I sold it for $50K, I'm stupid. should have kept it.
1969 440 6 pac Roadrunner-Blue
1970 SuperBird-440 4 speed-Petty Blue, should have kept this one too.
1970 AAR Cuda-Green-Auto
1970 AAR Cuda-Blue 4 speed
All Mopars Govier certified matching numbers.
1969 Bronco
1967 GTO-Black on Black 4 speed
1970 Chevy Impala Conv. Green with white top.
It was fun.
If I get time I will restore a 1977-1982 Mercedes 280CE if I can find a good example.

Holy smokes....you had quite the collection of Mopars (and others). You have any pictures? I've never had anything as nice as most of those. I do love Mopars and I really love my Barracudas. I've always been partial to the A-bodies for some reason. Maybe because I couldn't afford the others!

I'm planning on turning the Model A in to a hot rod version of the Ramblin Wreck from Georgia Tech (because I'm a **** of an engineer).

My first car was 67 Impala that was my grandmother's. My dad and I restored it for my first car. I've always enjoyed tinkering and playing with vehicles. That's why an older Bird has some appeal as well.

Our fleet currently consists of:
The Bird
1979 Camaro Z28 with many "modifications"
1987 Corvette
1961 Chevrolet 3/4 ton with a 4 speed overdrive auto behind the 292.
A couple of Kid haulers, the Camaro is the grocery getter!
