The Blue Bird factory and the Birds nest!

One place you have to visit is the factory and the birds nest,its in Ft. Valley Ga. and its a must see!. take the tour of the plant and stay at the nest, one very nice place to be,full hookups and in a park like setting,and lots of other birders to visit with!

Headed up north in a couple of weeks. Plan to stay the first night there...
Getting ready to workamp!

What exactly are the procedures for 'checking in'? Who do I see? Where exactly is it in relation to the entrance to the factory? I plan on getting up the next day and taking the tour before heading out. Anything else I need to know?

I have just put together a GOOGLE MAPS with some directions to THE 'BIRDS NEST at the factory and the procedure of how to use it. Go to
Wanderlodge Owners Group > Takin' it Easy > Campgrounds, RV Parks, and Other Places to Sleep > Wanderlodge Factory "THE 'BIRDS NEST"
and follow the directions. After you bring up the map, which should automatically be in the satellite version, it will give you a satellite photo of the area, that you can zoom in on, then click on each PUSH PIN and the YELLOW LINE for further details, this should give you the information that you need.

and when you get there,look for a little gaurd shack,on the north side of the big building.
just pull in,the gaurd will open the gate,once in the gate go left down the hill through the parking lot,at the bottom of the hill you will see the entrance to the nest on the left,go in and up the hill and find a spot,reserved spots will have a sign on them.
park,hookup and then go in the club house and sign in.
its that easy!
