Does anyone know the out come of this power steering pump problem???
It was pumping air into the power steering reservoir???
There was a pump located between the air system and the power steering fluid that developed an air leak.

That's great news Bob. Did they overhaul your old one or is this new off the shelf? If for some reason it doesn't work and you need to contact Bob Gradowski give me a shout and I'll pass along his phone number.

Randy and all,
I have not forgotten about you - just still waiting on the pump from the supplier. Apparently he has shipped twice and its been lost both times. I spoke on Friday and he has promised to have another to me by the end of the week......We will see.....
I will update when I have more including if the replacement works and all the details. This has been an epic!
Watch this space.......Regards

Not related to this article. I have spent an hour on it if someone can send me a message I sure would appreciate it. The only thing I can find is how to reply...

Kevin.
Go to the homepage on the forum, then scroll down and pick the sub forum that you want to post a new topic message in, lets take for example Vehicle Issues click on that topic link and after it opens look up near the top of the list on the left for the NEW THREAD link and click on it, that will open a Post New Thread box that is similar to the reply box that you just used.

If that doesn't work or you have a problem with it, send me a private message through my profile, with you telephone number and I give you a call and walk you through it.

Hi guys,
I'm back. FYI I finally received the pump back this last week. If you have good memories you will recall I have been trying to get this fixed since February. Well. I spent 6 hours yesterday reinstalling this "rebuilt" pump - not a job for the faint hearted as the hoses don't want to bend......
Anyway...Start up (first crank after 9 months!) and.....Nothing....same as it was before. No radiator fan....marginal power steering....and the air is blowing back to the reservoir still.
I'm basically done. I will be getting the beast towed to a repair facility and let them tell me what they want to do. I'm angry, confused, and can't think what else to do.

Anyone know a good repir shop in the Pasadna texas vicinity?

Thanks for all the help guys. Much appreciated.
