Our water heater rusted out so we had to move out, while the kitchen & bathroom floors were taken out. The insurance company provide a $600.00 advance.
I had to provide receipts for everything we did a couple of days in the motel @ $88.00/night. We checked out and went to the HEART OF GEORGIA campground. The campground is located in Yatesville, GA on US 74. There is no attendant, someone will come by to collect the 18/night. there is a cattle pond that you can not fish out of you ave have a cow pasture one one side. This place is manly a extended stay park. Some individuals had pvc sewer pipes. The owner/manager makes a point to tell us that diamond must be on leash and picked up after, but I guess that did not apply to the great daine. She also came over to inform us that she was get complaints about flash lights shinning in windows. You can not put you mats on the grass only on the patio. The birds net is about 30-45 mins firm this place.

Hugh,
You should consider also alerting people on http://www.rvparkreviews.com/ That's a site that we use for "real" ratings on campgrounds. There's none of that 4 diamonds, triple-a rated, good sam ****- just the facts from real users.

As Shane pointed out....RVParkReviews is a great site.
As an FYI if you have not used the site in a while...Were connecting the dots now on our trip to Quebec and Gaspe and recently noticed that the campgrounds that are reviewed are now shown on the map! Much improved method to plan in unfamiliar areas.

FWIW I do not put much faith in Woodalls any more either, they are a fee based information service provider and it looked obvious recently that Woodalls did not verify the parks entry information. Woodalls stated that a specific park near Willamsburg, KY had four diamonds but the park was a pasture field out behind a seedy motel which looked as if it charged by the hour. I too would rather go online to RVparkreviews.com.

I don't believe that a PPS (Powerpoint) file extension can be uploaded to the forum, the only file extension that are supported by our software are;

We use
rvparkreviews.com all the time, as well as being members of Passport America which has campgrounds at half price with some restrictions (lots of PA folks rate campgrounds on the link above) and we find price does not mean much. In fact $18 is on the upper end of what we usually pay unless we are in a real bind, and we don't stay in any crummy places. We stay in a lot of Passport parks, and lots of times in State Parks and Corps of Engineer campgrounds because we like the settings, extra room, and usually they have nice lakes, views, etc. They are typically $20 or less and the COE parks if you are over 65 with the Senior Card (formerly Golden Age Card) are only $10/night. We don't trust Woodalls much either anymore. We might find a park listed there and then check it out on the link above. I understand that besides Passport America that Camp USA and Escapees are good as well but it seems that if you are a memebr of one, it covers the same parks. So, bottom line, with the right resources, you can usually stay in great spots for not much money. And if you stay a week or month, it is even less. Happy trails!
