M380 (Important information)
Would like to contact someone with a m380 to ask some questions...Some feedback on how you like the coach..How about parts..Thanks john

We've had our 2004 M380 with single slide for almost three years. It is a fantastic coach, reliable, great ride, adequate space. The only significant issues have been a finicky Hurricane Heater which was resolved with a little maintenance. The Powertech had an alternator failure and later a fan belt failure which were fixed by local mechanics. Parts have not been a problem for me. Let me know if you have specific questions or concerns.

Thanks for your response.I am looking at one with a slide issue at the rear bedroom area and a no start at the dash panel but will fire from the rear. Are they problematic. Thanks John

M380 issues
Tell us about the rear slide issues. I can't help you with this one, but the other M380 owners and experts will be offering their advise shortly.

The dash starting problem might originate with the engine access hatch switch that prevents you from starting from the dash if the hatch is open. Start your trouble shooting there.

There are a number of coach electrical and rear bedroom slide schematic drawings available for the 2003 M380. You should be able to find them in the files on the WOG site. I've included the top level index for these schematics. If you can't find them, send me a PM with your email and I will forward copies to you.

I made a simple conversion of the rear slide operating system that is posted on this Forum; use the search feature. This conversion by-pasted the circuit board and computer, uses $20 dollars worth of switches and wire from Radio Shack, two limit switches (dome light switches taken from the door of a car), and took about 3 hours of snaking wire etc. Still working great after a couple of years.

Hi Johnny
We also have an 04 M380 and will be happy to answer questions. We live full-time in ours and are familiar with the steep learning curve on these birds. Please feel free to ask questions. This group will help in any way we can. What is or isn't the rear slide doing?

One thing i can tell you.
Its going to take way more money than you think to fix it.
If you fix it yourself i can see $20 grand or more flying out of your pocket.
If it needs tires, batteries, paint, etc look to spend $40k,plus the price of the coach.
Keep that in mind when you make the offer to buy.
Also, look over the title real well.
I am not saying the seller can't be trusted,i don't even know them!
But,you do want a clear title,not a rebuild,or salvage title.
Good luck,keep us advised!

The coach is being offer to me for 50K.Clear title I did a carfax. After talking to the dealer they say the damage is only to rear corner. Not to mention I cannot say of any odors that maybe in coach..Tough choice..Does any of your members live in the Piedmont SC area to possibly look at unit for me..Keep me posted.Your forum has been a great help so far..Thanks John
