Of course, 24 volt. It is a nifty little device. I wish I had thought of it! :)

Someday I may upgrade my 50DN regulator to a smart Balmar device. It'd be great to turn the Alternator into a smart 3 stage charger with temperature sensing. I'd be looking at the MC-614, or to save a penny, the ARS-5.

I just completed a 2,000 mile trip by running the generator. Lost all engine power while going down the hwy in West Texas in the middle of nowhere. Was able to get safely off the road and stopped let me tell you with the 365 front tires without any power steering turning is a bear. Tried using the rear starting panel to get the engine started and all I got was the starter solenoid to click. Started up the generator and about 5 minutes later tried starting the engine and it fired right up. I have to believe that my voltage regulator is bad and will have to be replaced. Great trip to Nevada and back to West Texas just had to run the generator the entire trip.

I do not know if your set up is as mine , but I have had this issue and the repair was to run a ground cable from the alternator , direct to the negative post of the batteries. If you are at the rally this weekend stop over and I will show you what I did . spot #53 in the trees :)
