Good Sam has just given us a very good quote on our insurance for our 1980, 1990 bluebirds and our Jeep Cherokee. Has anyone had experience with the Good Sam Insurance underwritten by National General Insurance Co.

Specifically, are they generally good payers in the event you MAY have an accident, loose an awning, or have an impact with an uninsured motorist. I worked in the Insurance industry for 22 years and am somewhat skeptical. Any good reports would be appreciated before we shift our coverage. We tried Geico, Allstate, USAA, and Progressive. Good Sam gave us the best quote, especially for the 7 months we are in France and not using the vehicles.

Thanks Walt and Gail

Thanks Woody, I'll give them a call on Monday and see how they do on a quote. Still here in France so I have to wait until the afternoon here.

you can do it on line

Based on the year of your coach I would suggest Blue Sky, you may need an appraisal, I'm not sure if they will work off of a purchase contract? National Interstate is another but your coach may be too old. If you're looking for full replacement coverage you will want an "Agreed Value Policy" nothing less. If you want just general liability and general coverage it shouldn't matter. It does pay to shop around!

saved 800 with them verses progressive

Thanks Woody, I'll give National a call today and see what kind of a quote they can provide. I'm trying to get all three of my vehicles on one policy, and work of a multi car discount. I'll give both a try
