We stayed a month at Sam's Family Spa last winter and loved it. $550 + elect. Not bad for that area

Peter, If your ok with being around happy people , who drive gold carts around at 4-5 for happy hour , relaxing in a sauna or Jacuzzi, and being near great restaurants , you may want to give ORI Indio a try :)
You could also for much less money stay at Sams up the hill also , and enjoy Natural Hot Baths/ Spa .
We do have 3 BB in here now , 2 LXI and 1 380 :) and we would love to put you to work , I mean play :)

Outdoor Resort Indio

Sam's Family Spa Hot Water Resort

Pete, when in Indio we like staying at Motorcoach Country Club Resort

A little to the south is Borrego Springs...more laid back than Indio, nice town and lots of good hiking at the state park.

Peter, We like Sam's family spa too. However if you aren't going to stay a month it is rather expensive. Where ever you stay, that area is a great part of CA!

At Sams they ask, then they look out the window at your Wanderlodge, then the tell you about all of the other ones they've had stay there that season.

Doesn't seem to be a problem.

For the monthly rate they do a credit reference check.

They are not a 55 and older, they have all ages staying there, which we like. Lots of locals come to use the hot springs.
