90's era Jeep Cherokee
For those that missed their opportunity to own one of these when they were new, here's your 2nd chance.

Prices on these have become silly!

Mostly because they were, and still are, the best offering Jeep had from that era. We have owned two and I still miss them. Highly reliable and functional with only basic maintenance. |
I would buy that for $7k right now, but it's going to end up at $12-15k. BAT gets a little nuts with these things.

I love BaT ... as a seller !

The Best, still have our 2000, Sport, owned for 15 years, still strong at 155,000 & maybe 100,000 towing. Never to a service garage, but replaced things like alternator, 2 evaporators, tires, batteries, brakes, exhaust, shocks, rear main seal, just regular maintenance, and minor up grades every few years, just replaced the rear springs. Riding high again since we use it as a trailer and load it up with gear, tools parts etc. There is a WOG Cherokee cult,
some are McGuiness , Dave Cluless, Don M., Mallie has several. The Jeep forum and Youtube is great a help for repairs. |
Bought a 2000 in 2003 for 10.5k. Had the bad 2000 head. I think the head is now a 98, and she's got 190000 driving miles. A car with almost no depreciation is a good thing.

I bought my 1999 Cherokee Sport 4x4 from the original owner in 2008 with 42,000 miles and a Roadmaster Falcon II Tow bar for $4,500. It was listed in a local Craigslist AD. Now has numerous upgrades and 105,000 miles. It has been a great vehicle for us.
