hey everyone.. does anyone know what these relay's are for and operate.. as well as the orange cylinders?
they are just under the drivers seat in the Generator Battery compartment. The are in an enclose box mounted to the top of the inside of the compartment?

Rob
I think they are for the cornering lights they should come on and stay on when turn signal activated.

Hi Rob,

Those relays are for the brake lights when the transmission retarder is activated.

Wierd
I don't have trans retarder my relays are for cornering lights, on the 82
will need to check 84 it has retarder.
There we go they all are different

Very helpful guys thanks.. I thought they might have something to do with my tail light problems but whether for the retarder or corner light my hopes are dashed for them being part of my Tail Lights not working.... Back to my search for a ground problem :)

THANKS

Rob:
The first place to look is the pressure switches which control the power for the brake lights.
In the air schematic, it shows two in series for control of the circuit.
On a bus I used to have, it was located right up under the brake treadle area.
