Preparing to go Full time!!!!

This is finally happening!
I am beyond excited and as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof. :o My 21 yr old daughter wants to rent our house from us, so our domicile will remain established in Florida. I am still in negotiations with my Florida Retirement system on my retirement date. It may be in a few weeks :D or it may be in 2 years :(...not sure yet. In any event, my daughter wants to be moved in by June. If I have to stay with the agency another 2 years (til I hit 50). Then we talked about moving into the bus anyway and staying local until I can leave. This would give us a good idea of what it's going to be like so we can make modifications as need be and we will be close, should the daughter need anything. Plus it should give us a realistic idea of how much it's going to cost, minus bus fuel.

Now I just need to get the hubby serious about purging his stuff. Offerup.com and FB marketplace...here we come!

Nice to hear - congrats!

Thanks! Plus this will give me a chance to decide where we want to go first on our grand adventure.
Ultimately I would like to roam around for a year and hit all the big National parks and hopefully find where we want to put down roots.

The one thing i know about Yugos is if you have one,you will need a spare motor.
I had a yugo once,i used it as a UPS dropbox by my gate,it did not leak when it rained.
I even had a "flag" on it like a mailbox, the flag was 12x18''

In my late teens, I had a neighbor with a Yugo; he was also a co-worker at the supermarket I worked it. One evening, 4 guys carried the car from the parking lot, around to the back of the store. Naturally he went nuts, thinking it was stolen. What a good laugh. :D Not an easy prank to carry out on any other car.

the one i had had a sticker on the visor that said "not for extended highway use".
My BIL at the time bought it new, thinking it was a good car.
at 30,000 miles it was a mailbox.

Kinda makes me think of the Tata Nano. I seem to recall reading it is not legal for sale in the US.

A Yugo with a rear seat was sold as a Wego....:)
