Wow! I think it has been cleaned out of Wanderlodge parts but I would love to go pickin' in there. I dont think I could sit through the entire auction just to bid on one little thing I might want but ..... just wow! Thanks for posting.
I saw a Prevost in one picture!

What became of the coaches? Especially the 48v coach they recently constructed.

Hate to see it go.
A sign of the times I guess. I think with Parliaments history it was a corner stone of Blue bird, and a valuable source of scarce parts.

Just curious what comes of the Wanderlodge name?

Mallie Lennon 04-03-2018 06:28 PM

I think Parliament bought it guess the creditors could sell it, not sure how much it is worth. I remember when Eagle went belly up and the Name was floating around there. Someone was going to buy it and start up Eagle again, but it never happened.
With Newel building the only factor built coach, ground up, and they only sell about 25 a year, I think it is clear the market for a million plus coach is just not there.

I think the 48v coach went to the people that invested in it.

The Wanderlodge name was given to Wog.
It was a handshake deal several years ago.
Its too much to talk about here.

Sad to see the death throes of a formerly great converter. Can you imagine the cost to start up one from scratch with the equipment shown? This industry is slowly going the way of the buggy whip. Let's DRIVE!!
