All jokes aside,welcome back John!
Drive safe,if you need us just call!!

Yelp, I have two bicycles, a hybrid & a street and if Fran was not such a worry wart I'd still have the Harley. As for Finn he may beat me on the ice cream but I've been told that a 3 hour nap was too much:)

John

Not to discourage you.

I too am oxygen compromised.

Elevation Louisville, KY and Jeffersonville, IN nominal 450 feet.

Your visit and time in Colorado at elevation ??????

During my last trip planned to stay 7 days in Durango Elevation 5500 feet. After 5 days had to leave, felt like everyday another layer of "stucco" was being added to my legs. Left after 5 days down to <1000 feet. Immediately felt better. Checked with Dr. on return "forget about oxygen stay below 3000 feet OK to exceed for short period of time but not sustained period of time".

Suggest if you start to feel "dragged out" go to lower elevation immediately.

Do not shoot the messenger.

Dean

Hospital Again

My pulmonary specialists have been monitoring me with CT scans since last May to see if we are having any unusual cell growth in a couple areas. Since then I have been out to Colorado & Arizona and all went well for me while on these trips but I did nurse on the Ox bottle while up in the Breckenridge area. Well since I have been home they found a strip of questionable lung tissue and three nodules about the size of a dime each. With the strip of questionable tissue and the 3 nodules the thoracic surgeon said in total volume was about a cup of tissue, and they removed it bright and early Friday morning for further tests. I was down and out for the count; they gave me an epidural and all other good stuff to keep me under during the procedures and a great morphine drip afterword. I got to come home this afternoon but had to leave the morphine drip behind. All the tissue and nodules have been sent out for testing and we hope to get the results back soon. I’m glad to be home because I was extremely sore from all the tubes in my side & chest. My breathing is not as labored right now but it could be the pain killers we'll have to wait & see.
