Going to look at 2006 450lxi
 

HI guys , Bob natoli here. new to the group. going to look at 2006 450lxi this week. any input helpful. how do they ride and handle after moving the generator? thanks bob

Welcome and I don't know the first thing about a 450 LXI, but there are a lot of guys out here that do. They will fill you in. From what I've heard, they are a great rig. Hope all works out well for you. It's amazing how many Birds are showing up in Ohio. There is a rally just north of you in Wilmington this week. No 450s that I know of but a lot of nice birds and even greater people.

if your looking at a coach that was modified near the end of the recallls you will have a good coach
the recalls were a continual work in progress
Call Allen Barbee at Bluebird and give him the Body number or VIN
He is usually pretty helpful

Welcome, Bob. I've been recording BBs in a database for the past 7 years. My database shows 2 450s in Ohio and 4 in Michigan. I have a total of 37. 12 2005, 18 2006, 5 2007, no 2008, 2 2009.

Where are you going to look at it? Someone on this forum might already know this bird, and be able to give you some information or previous information, or even have seen or looked at it in the past.

Or, they might even know of the previous owner, and can possibly give you some update information to help you in your pursuit.

I will be at Wilmington and I have a 450 that you are welcome to come look at ,crawl under and I will help you in any way I can. I will be arriving thursday evening as my son has a golf tournament thursday morning in avon,ohio. It is an o5 but they all have pretty much all the bellls and whistles. C'mon up ,watch Mr. Finn race the wabbit, enjoy some out of this world food and meet some of the greatest people that roam this earth!

I just bought a 2007, had some problems, but none that can not be fixed. I love the Bird. Rides great.
