diesel near Yuma

In a week or so I will be headed west through Yuma, and am looking for information on best places to fuel in AZ before entering California. I'm used to fueling up on I-10, but I don't know what is available down on I-8.

Hey Don,

A lot of my off road guys fuel at the Flying-J off Fortuna Rd in Yuma. Easy access on and off.

10800 N. Frontage Rd, Yuma, Az 85365
pilotflyingj.com
currently shows diesel at $3.24 plus ask for the RV discount. ;)

Take exit 12 from I-8 E

Flying J is always relatively expensive, but I guess the reason that one is so bad is because they are a "dealer" rather than company owned. Gas Buddy lists 15 diesel outlets in Yuma between 2.67 and 2.89, plus Love's at 3.22. Problem is I can't tell which of the others would be easy to get to with a bus, towing.

I have a CFN card, so if nobody chimes in with a better one I guess I will use the cardlock at 20th and Pacific. I don't like not knowing what I'm paying, and I almost certainly will be paying the 8 cent truck tax, but usually they work out to be around the cheapest, along with decent volume to keep it fresh.

Don, I look things over with Google Maps/satellite/street view if it's a new place before I go.

Yes, I did that with the cardlock location, which not unsurprisingly is easy to get to. My only issue with CFN is that I won't know the price until I get the bill. My home location posts the price, and they are the cheapest by at least a bit.

Don,
As of today, Fry's is listed @ $2.69... They are on the opposite corner to Flying J, pretty easy in and out for most RV, I fuel up there all the time, towing the jeep, get off exit 12, left, then left onto Frontage Rd, right just before Chase Bank, all end pumps have diesel, maybe a little wait, but it works...
Also, if you need a stop for the night, let me know, have 50 amp FHU...

Thanks for the offer, Larry, but we will just be passing through enroute to the San Diego area.

Just to close this out, I got my CFN bill today so I now know what I paid for diesel in Yuma, which was $2.705/gallon.

Like my local CFN, the one in Yuma also sells to the public using regular credit cards, and the posted diesel price was $2.879. In this case, CFN was a good deal, but it isn't always.
