My curb side engine compartment strut just failed at the ball socket to strut. Orr & Orr is 6 weeks backordered. Can I borrow and replace somebody's spare in the interim? This is Stabilus 3238EX....

If so, you might spend on some parts to be prepared. Very poor quality stuff for a OTR truck engine.
