I agree. Also if have small radiator leak or seep. Don't need to remove it. Just loosen to the safety notch. That loosens it enough no pressure builds, yet the cap is in place, and won't fall off.

That's what I do. Blow it all out. Add pink to tank. Pump it thru out all systems. And, since I don't have a bypass on the water heater, I fill that too.
Cheap insurance.

I like 90-140. GL-5 rated gear oil. I prefer synthetic, but your choice. Fill until oil comes out fill plug. Let it sit a few hours, and recheck, as it works it way out to end of axles.
