So true!

Anyway, my memory about the '90HP ratings is slowly coming back. The standard was 475, but if they sold one to a California customer it had to be de-rated to 450. Not sure if anything...

That I would expect. As I said, the brochures from the time show the 500 starting in 92.

The listing posted here says the '90 is a 500. Probably could have been converted to that, but I was...

You can also do much better engine electronic monitoring with things like VMSpc when you have DDEC II rather than I. As I recall you either can't get anything from I, or a tiny subset of the data.

Were any 90s 500HP from the factory? Brochures from the time say the 90 was 475 (and mine was), while 91 was 450 and 92 was the first 500.

My understanding was that it had to do with making it...

Faulty memory on my part - I shouldn't have said the upper was not used, just the lower. The lower one is apparently some sort of pressure transducer for a fancier fill gauge - the same units are on...

I assume that you are talking about the lower one of the two I have marked "Not used" in the picture below. It is unclear what system was supposed to use those, but I've not seen an M380 where they...

Obviously could be electronic, but the first thing I would check is to see if something is blocking the temp-sensing thermistor. You know where to find it?

Yours are on opposite sides? On mine they both were curbside. They would have to be set awfully high to run in Florida temps.

As I look through things I'm finding that my earlier description of the radiator as being for the transmission may be incorrect, and it may, in fact, be for the hydraulic system.

I understood that you meant A/C and not AC, but I thought that I read that you cut AC power and the sound went away. I missed that you turned off the PDU power.

I don't doubt that the fan is "controlled" by the ECU, but it's dollars to donuts that the actual power runs through a relay, which could have stuck closed. I will attempt to find the circuit in the...

The term "hydraulic cooler" could be confusing. I don't think there is any cooler associated with the hydraulic fluid that runs the power steering and radiator fan, which is a reason why the...

Yeah, both the dryer and the leveler would have been due to the 110v pump.

The continuously leaking leveling valve happens ONLY when the bags are dumped! It takes 40psi or so to close the valve, and often the 110v air pump can't put out enough to ever get there.

Nothing to do with the roof airs in that location. The tranny cooler is there, and the air drier. Any chance your 110v air pump was running? If so, could get noise from the air drier (I always did)...

Bigfoot calls for a 120-amp self-resetting breaker, but I don't recall ever seeing one. Certainly that open 125 amp fuse sounds like it might be the problem!
