I plan to loosen the control box assembly mounting screws to make it more accessible to service. Access! Then I'll begin detailed inspection of all wires and clean each connector.

Yes the switch returns to the center position when released. It stays lighted until the switch is depressed to the stop position.

What do you mean, "sticky" ?

Kohler 12.5 KW generator quit & won't crank to start?

The Perkins 4.108 was running and quit. I have not been able to get it started.
Replaced old battery with new and cleaned all connections to starter. Pushing start switch, nothing!
