Since the PRX is also the trigger for the warning light I'm surprised you could see a false zero on the gauge and not see the warning light. The PRX has one other electrical analog input (along with...

Not sure I had seen that before. Appears that the alarm sounds based on the analog input, and nothing in the dash "sees" the on/off oil pressure switch. Too bad the VMSpc was not checked to see if it...

I know that a lot of people here like to do their own oil changes, but with the issues involved in collection and disposal I have always preferred to have it done. Last time was done by Speedco; oil...

Just an observation re: dash gauges and alarms. I once had the fuel gauge drop to zero about 20 miles after filling up. The low fuel light came on. Pulled over and shut down, and went out expecting...

Good question, although the simple answer is almost certainly Yes, but that doesn't mean that the gauge doesn't get its source from the same sender that feeds data to the computer.

I'm pretty...

Once again I don't really understand the concept of the alternator current dropping to zero, or even near zero. Alternators don't like that at all, and you would have no power in the chassis if it...

We are certainly out of my comfort zone, but it seems to me that you face real issues if the lithiums get full, but still get a charge from the alternator. You need some sort of cutout that will...

From what I've read, Lithiums also charge best above 14, but they need to be cut off at full charge, which your BMS should do, but I admit I don't understand what is happening in your system. The...

Couldn't hurt for you to turn up the alternator to a proper 14+ voltage. Many of us did that for a lot of reasons. If you are showing only 13.6 at 1500 RPM you are definitely a candidate.

The Engine computer is J1939, while the M380 dash uses J1708. There is a box that converts some J1939 data to J1708, but some data is read from different sensors. Oil pressure would appear to be one...
