I replaced the oil pressure switch with a Napa Echlin "OP6616"
The original switch was a 3 psi closed, this one is rated 2-6 psi. It immediately shut the "check trans " light off....

Well , my switch isn't a momentary on switch, it's an on/ off.
The " check trans " light stays on all the time in either position ( been on for 4 years)

Any ideas?
