If you have the external fill, it's a shrader...

If you have the external fill, it's a shrader valve that sits near the alternator in the engine bay. Easy to fill bags with shop air so no need to run engine. Easy to hear leak location :)

Not sure what the 98 LXi has in it but my 97 has teleflex gauges. It was purchased by Jamestown distributors. They make all kinds of gauges and if you haven't checked, maybe look on their website.
