I think I got lucky this time. I started taking things off when I decided that I'm going to have to get the coach jacked up to fit under to disconnect the radiator hoses- which I'm not about to do on gravel. I put everything back together and dumped a little stop leak in the expansion tank to see what would happen. It's been running for over an hour now with the ACs cranked up on high and no leaks. Temperatures by IR reading show 175 at the tank (exterior), 184 at the valve cover. The highest reading I could find was 205 right behind the injectors (?) where the valve cover meets the cylinder head.

There still is a generator pull in my future but now I think I can wait to do it on my own time.
